WHAT WE DO
Our goal is to improve aviation safety.
Clearpath Aviation acquired the aircraft overrun database developed by Safe Runway GmbH. Captain Rob van Eekeren developed a comprehensive database of aircraft overruns.
Clearpath Aviation will continue to expand and develop the database to improve aviation safety.
.
We specialize in research and training in areas such as Wildlife Hazard Management training, Human Factors, and SMS systems. We also advise and help clients with inadequate RESA (Runway End Safety Area) and can also increase runway length by installing EMAS, Engineered Material Arresting System.
We are developing the largest and most comprehensive database on runway overruns for statistical and research use.
Wildlife Hazard Management training
Why Wildlife Hazard Management (WHM) training?
ICAO recommends “that aerodrome operators should provide an initial and recurrent WHM training (ICAO DOC 9137, part 3, article 4.9). Specific WHM training subjects are recommended by ICAO. The training is to be concluded with a test and the results to be documented.”
- The nature and extent of the aviation wildlife management problem,
- Local hazard identification
- Regulations, standards and guidance material
- etc.
